At Scoil na mBuachaillí, we had great fun celebrating World Book Day this week! Our classrooms were full of colour and creativity as the boys arrived dressed up as characters from their favourite stories. From classic heroes to modern favourites, the costumes sparked lots of excitement and conversation about the books we love to read.
Throughout the day, the boys spent time sharing and discussing their favourite books with their classmates. It was wonderful to hear the variety of stories that inspire them and to see their enthusiasm for reading.
One of the highlights of the day was buddy reading, where older and younger classes paired up to enjoy stories together. The older pupils took great pride in reading to their younger buddies, while the younger boys loved listening and joining in with the stories.
World Book Day was a fantastic celebration of imagination, storytelling and the joy of reading. Well done to all the boys for their wonderful costumes and for making the day so special! 📚✨
