Congratulation to all the students from 4th - 6th that took part in the Island of Ireland Rocks Times Tables Tournament. Competing against 315 primary and secondary schools across the Island of Ireland, SNB finished in 52nd place in the Primary school section for our Total School Score . We finished 82nd place in the whole competition!
Ireland Rocks required children to correctly answer as many multiplication and division questions as possible, to give their class and school the best chance of winning.
Parts of the event were live streamed by Times Tables Rocks Stars which built on the students excitement and enthusiasm for the competition and maths as a whole.
The competition was fierce with 14,280,834 questions answered collectively by 17,552 students from more than 315 schools and 1,206 classes around Ireland!
Our school stats were astonishing too. On average our top class answered 777 questions correctly per student, with the best performing student answering an amazing 4,066 questions correctly in total. I am sure you can appreciate that those stats are out of this world!
