Our Senior Infants recently enjoyed a truly special Teddy Bears’ Picnic, and what a wonderful day it was!
The children arrived at school with their favourite teddy bears tucked under their arms, eager to introduce their furry friends to classmates and teachers. From the moment they arrived, there was a lovely buzz of excitement in the air, and the classroom was filled with smiles, laughter and lots of teddy bear adventures.
The children gathered together for a picnic and shared stories about their treasured teddies. It was heartwarming to see the care and affection they showed towards their special companions throughout the day.
One of the highlights was seeing the amazing variety of teddy bears that came to visit our school. Each teddy had its own unique story, and the children loved telling their friends all about them. The picnic provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their social skills, communication, creativity, and imagination while making happy memories together.
A sincere thank you to Ms O'Neill for organising such a lovely occasion. The joy on the children's faces said it all, and it was a day that will be remembered fondly by everyone involved.
