Rang 7 & 8 Visit Clonakilty Black Pudding
This week, our Rang 7 and 8 classes had an exciting trip to Clonakilty Black Pudding. Students enjoyed a hands-on learning experience, discovering the history, production process, and unique qualities of this iconic Irish food. The visit included a guided tour of the facilities and demonstrations of the traditional methods used.
As part of the experience, pupils also got to enjoy some fabulous food, tasting the famous products and discovering the flavours that make Clonakilty Black Pudding so renowned.
The trip provided an engaging way for students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, while also exploring Irish heritage and culinary traditions. It was a fun and educational day out, fostering curiosity, teamwork, and an appreciation for local culture.
We’re so proud of our pupils for their enthusiasm and engagement, and we look forward to more educational trips like this in the future!
