To mark Tree Council Day, Rang 3 took part in a special Tree Day webinar. The session was filled with fun facts, interactive learning, and a deeper look at the important role trees play in our environment.
Pupils learned about native Irish trees, how to care for them, and the many ways trees support wildlife and help combat climate change. The children were particularly interested in learning how trees communicate with each other through underground root systems – like nature’s own internet!
After the webinar, Rang 3 reflected on what they had learned and shared ideas for how we can all help protect trees in our community. It was a wonderful way to celebrate nature and grow our knowledge about the world around us.
