Our Custom Music Room – A Space for Creativity and Musical Growth 🎶

6th Feb 2026

Scoil na mBuachaillí is delighted to have such a fantastic custom Music Room in our school, providing pupils with a dedicated space to explore, enjoy and develop their musical talents.

This wonderful facility supports a wide range of musical activities and has become an important hub of creativity within the school. It is used regularly for specialist instrumental tuition, including:

  • Ger Conlon’s brass instrument lessons

  • Kay O’Flynn’s music tuition, including guitar, tin whistle and accordion

  • Eoin Barclay’s drum lessons

The Music Room also plays a key role in supporting our pupils’ musical collaboration, as it provides an ideal space for in-house band practices, allowing children to rehearse together, build confidence and experience the enjoyment of making music as part of a group.

Music is a valued part of life in Scoil na mBuachaillí, helping to foster creativity, teamwork, discipline and wellbeing. We look forward to seeing our pupils continue to grow as musicians and to sharing more of their musical achievements throughout the year.

🎵✨ A sincere thank you to all our visiting tutors and staff who help make music such a vibrant part of our school community.
