Great excitement today. In recent weeks the gardeners have been busy gathering all the autumn leaves.
As a project for Science week, Finbarr helped us build a leaf composter. It was great fun and we learned his to measure the area, use a sledge hammer and also a staple gun! Tomorrow we are going to put all our bags of leaves into it and hopefully this time next year we will have our own compost in SNB.
Good fun, good for the environment and good for all the little bugs and insects who will help break down our leaves. Thank you Finbarr. We loved working with you.
