Junior Infants had a fantastic, action-packed week full of learning, laughter, and sunshine! 🌞
Our Gaeilge topic, “An Siopa Milseáin”, was a huge hit. The classroom transformed into a busy sweet shop, where the children took on roles as shopkeepers and customers. There was great excitement as they practised their new vocabulary while “buying” and “selling” delicious treats — a fun and memorable way to build confidence in speaking Irish.
In Maths, the children have been working hard on addition, and this week they brought their learning to life using technology. They loved using their IT skills to reinforce what they’ve learned, showing great independence and enthusiasm.
We also made the most of the beautiful weather! From energetic PE sessions practising ball skills, to outdoor playtime and a special trip to the playground, there were smiles all around.
