🌟 History Made! 🌟
For the first time ever, we had a team progressing to the County Finals!
Clonakilty BNS UTD battled through a series of very close and hard-fought matches and proudly broke new ground for our school. Not only did they reach the County Finals, but they also advanced to the Semi-Final, placing them among the top 4 Large Schools teams across Cork city and county — an outstanding and historic achievement!
Today we travelled to Corinthians to compete in the FAI Primary 5-a-Side Competition – Large Schools competition, featuring schools from across Cork city and county.
Our boys played with incredible spirit, teamwork, and determination throughout the day, representing our school with great pride. Out of 256 teams that began this journey, we are delighted to have finished among the top 4 schools in the county — a fantastic achievement!
We are so proud of every player for their effort and commitment. A huge thank you to all our supporters from the school, and to the staff for their encouragement, coaching, and support. A special Thank You to Mr Paul Carmody and Mr Ciarán Crowley for mentoring the team.
