It was a pleasure for the new princpal Norma Harte to speak at the 6th class graduation today,
"What a journey this has been! Although I’ve had the privilege of knowing you for just one year, I want you to know how much of an impression you’ve made on me in that short time. From your creativity and kindness to your determination and energy, you’ve truly shown what it means to be a strong, supportive, and spirited class.
This past year, I’ve seen you grow—not just academically, but as young people ready to take on the challenges and opportunities of the next chapter. Whether it was through your leadership in the school, your curiosity in the classroom, or the way you looked out for one another, you’ve shown the values that will carry you far in life.
As you move on to secondary school, remember that change brings new beginnings. You might feel nervous or uncertain, and that’s okay. But also feel proud—because you’re ready. Take with you the memories, friendships, and lessons from your time here, and never forget the part you played in making this school a better place.
Even though our time together was short, I will always remember this class fondly. Thank you for welcoming me into your school community and allowing me to be part of this special chapter in your lives.
