Science Week Ireland marked its 30th anniversary this year with the theme “Then. Today. Tomorrow.”—a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in science, and of how it shapes our everyday lives.
To bring this theme to life, several of our classes took part in the iconic volcano experiment. Just as scientists of the past explored chemical reactions (Then), our students discovered the excitement of hands-on experimentation (Today), and sparked curiosity that will inspire the next generation of innovators (Tomorrow). The bubbling eruptions were more than fun—they were a reminder of how science connects the past, present, and future.
