🎄✨ Wrapping Up a Wonderful Christmas Term at Scoil na mBuachaillí, Clonakilty ✨🎄

As we come to the end of another busy and joyful school term, we are delighted to reflect on a truly special run-up to Christmas in our school.

Our pupils in Junior Infants, Senior Infants, Rang 1 and Rang 7 brought huge smiles to everyone’s faces with their festive songs, actions and performances, filling the school with excitement and Christmas cheer. Their enthusiasm, confidence and joy on stage were a delight for all who attended.

The Hosanna Rock performance in the church, involving pupils from 2nd to 6th Class, was a particularly special highlight of the Christmas season. The performance provided a beautiful opportunity for reflection on the true meaning of Christmas, and we were delighted with the very positive feedback received from all who attended. It was a memorable occasion that showcased the pupils’ hard work, reverence and talent.

The festive spirit extended beyond the school gates too, as pupils shared the joy of the season through carol singing at the Day Care Centre, Care Choice and Bushmount, spreading Christmas cheer throughout the wider community.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the school was beautifully transformed with Christmas lights inside and outside the building, thanks to the hard work of our fabulous caretaker, Finbarr, and Principal Norma Harte, helping to create a warm and welcoming Christmas setting for everyone.

Throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas, the school was filled with music, celebration and kindness — from festive dress-up days and classroom activities to our visit from Santa and Mrs Claus and our Pass on the Kindness initiative, which encouraged compassion and generosity across the school.

A heartfelt thank you to our pupils, staff, Parents’ Association and families for your continued support and community spirit throughout the term.
