We are incredibly proud of our boys who represented our school so brilliantly in the County Finals of the Cork Primary School Skills Competitions at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh! 👏💙
After successfully qualifying through the highly competitive West Cork stage in Dunmanway, both our Hurling and Football Skills teams competed against the very best schools in Cork County.
⭐ A special congratulations to our fantastic Football team — Luca O’Donovan, Darragh Hennessy & Kgotso Mazibeli — who achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the entire county! What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to their hard work, teamwork and skill throughout the competition.
👏 Well done also to our Hurling team — Séimí Forristal, Seán Kennedy & Max O’Keeffe — who performed brilliantly and represented the school with great determination, skill and sportsmanship on the day.
The competitions tested a wide range of skills including striking, soloing, goal scoring, teamwork and accuracy under pressure, and all of the boys should be extremely proud of their achievements.
💙 A very special mention and sincere thank you to Ms Marie Forristal for her wonderful support, encouragement and dedication to the boys throughout the competitions. Her guidance, positivity and commitment were greatly appreciated and played such an important part in the teams’ success.
