Excitement is hatching at Scoil na mBuachaillí! Our school chickens have been busy with their experiment - pecking out their own pumpkin carvings — much to the delight of pupils, staff, and the wider community. 🐓🎃
To make sure our feathered artists are happy and comfortable, they’ve also moved into a new, spacious chicken house. The upgraded home gives them plenty of room to roost, lay eggs, and enjoy their daily activities safely. 🏠
This fun project has been a hands-on way for pupils to observe animal behaviour, experiment with enrichment activities, and celebrate creativity — all while caring for our chickens.
