3rd class enjoyed a lovely walk around Clonakilty as they explored their local area and got to know their town a little better. Along the way, they discovered the names of different streets, spotted some interesting local statues and landmarks, and learned more about the history and features of their community.
They also kept an eye out for their amazing summer visitors — the swifts — and were delighted to see them flying overhead. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn more about the wildlife around them while enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. A great day of learning and exploring for everyone!
