🚴♀️ Cycle Right Training for 4th & 5th Class
This week, our 4th and 5th Class pupils began their Cycle Right training, the national standard for cycle training in Ireland. Developed and facilitated by Cycling Ireland, this programme provides practical skills and safety training to help children become confident and competent cyclists.
Cycle Right operates in collaboration with the Department of Transport and the Road Safety Authority (RSA), ensuring all participants learn the most up-to-date safety practices for cycling on and off the road.
This year, our pupils are completing Stage 1 of the Cycle Right programme, which focuses on developing basic handling skills, balance, and road awareness — perfect for building a strong foundation in safe cycling.
Delivered by a network of Cycle Right trainers nationwide, the programme gives participants the knowledge and skills to move confidently and safely through the road system, regardless of previous experience.
We look forward to seeing our pupils develop as safer and more confident cyclists over the coming weeks.
