Innovation is thriving in our school, where creativity and practical problem-solving bring learning to life and strengthen our whole-school focus on STEM. A shining example is “Chessy Chessy Bang Bang” — a SuperValu trolley re-imagined by our caretaker Finbarr into a fully mobile learning hub. His craftsmanship, imagination, and generosity of time transformed a simple idea into a hands-on resource that is accessible to every pupil in the school.
This project reflects our commitment to STEM learning, encouraging design thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and real-world application in meaningful ways.
It also highlights the strength of our community partnerships. We extend huge thanks to SuperValu Clonakilty, whose ongoing support of the school is invaluable — from everyday encouragement to sponsoring the balloons for the official opening of our new extension.
