At Scoil na mBuachaillí, we believe that kindness is just as important as learning — and this week, our pupils put that belief into action in the most heart-warming way.
Teacher Ms Orla O’Keeffe, Alex & Malachy decided to carry out a Random Act of Kindness, surprising members of the local community by presenting them with bright yellow daffodils as they met them in town. 🌼💛
With smiles, gentle words and plenty of excitement, the pupils spread joy to passers-by, many of whom were touched by the single gesture. That single gesture created moments of connection, happiness and surprise — reminding us all how even the smallest acts of kindness can have a powerful impact.
This thoughtful initiative reflects the values we nurture every day at Scoil na mBuachaillí: kindness, empathy and community spirit. We are incredibly proud of Ms O’Keeffe and our pupils for showing how one simple gesture can brighten someone’s day.
