🎄✨ Seasonal Update from SNB ✨🎄 It appears that even the Principal has been spotted wearing a Christmas jumper around the school… so the festive season has truly arrived! 🎅 In the spirit of the season, pupils are now welcome to wear Christmas jumpers, hats and festive accessories alongside their regular school uniform for the remainder of the season. We’re looking forward to seeing SNB brighten up even more with a cheerful touch of Christmas colour! 🎁🌟🎄
🎉✨🚸 BIG NEWS from Scoil na mBuachaillí! 🚸✨🎉 We are thrilled to announce that our long-running School Warden Programme has received Special Recognition at the Road Safety Authority’s prestigious Leading Lights Awards in Croke Park! 🌟🏆 Our 5th and 6th Class School Wardens had an unforgettable day today—experiencing the splendour of Croke Park, enjoying the RSA’s wonderful hospitality, and proudly representing our school’s 50-year commitment to road safety. 🚸💛 A huge thank you to the RSA for making the day so special for our boys. We want to shine a special spotlight on Chris Hinchy, whose dedication, expertise and unwavering commitment have been at the heart of the School Warden Programme for decades. His guidance has shaped generations of pupil wardens, instilling confidence, responsibility, and leadership. The success and longevity of this programme are a true testament to Chris’s exceptional service to our school community. 💙🙌 Thank you also to the staff who travelled to Dublin—Ms Carol O'Boyle, Ms Eileen Breen O'Riordan, Ms Niamh Mac Auley, and Ms Regina Fitzmaurice—for supporting the boys throughout the day. And a very special thank you again to Chris Hinchy for travelling with the group and accepting the award on our behalf. 🏅💙 We are incredibly proud of our pupil wardens, past and present—true leaders in safety, responsibility, and community spirit. 💙💛✨ #LeadingLightsAwards #RoadSafety #ScoilNaMBuachaillí #ProudSchool Road Safety Authority Ireland I Love Clonakilty Clonakilty Notice Board West Cork Education Centre
✨ First Class Christmas Performance ✨ Our wonderful First Class pupils delighted their families and friends with a heart-warming Christmas performance that truly captured the magic, joy and excitement of the festive season. Their beautifully decorated classroom—complete with twinkling lights, colourful artwork, and handmade Christmas crafts—was transformed into the perfect festive stage for this special celebration. The children sang a lovely selection of Christmas songs, performing each one with enthusiasm, confidence, and smiles that lit up the entire room. Their cheerful voices and lively actions showed just how much preparation and hard work they had put in. Adding to the festive fun, the pupils also shared some of their favourite Christmas jokes, filling the room with laughter. Their brilliant timing and playful humour kept everyone entertained from start to finish! We are incredibly proud of First Class for their creativity, confidence and fantastic teamwork. Their Christmas performance was a joyful way to celebrate the season and brought smiles to everyone who attended. 🌟🎅 A huge thank you to their teacher Ms. Therése Crowley and Mrs. Josie Files for all their hard work, support, and preparation. ❤️

✨ Pass on the Kindness – December at SNB! 💛 At SNB, kindness is at the heart of everything we do — and our December “Pass on the Kindness” initiative is now in full swing! 🌟 We’ve set up a special Acts of Kindness Post Box at Noreen’s desk, and pupils are invited to drop in their kindness slips all month long. 💌💕 We’d love your support at home — especially for our younger pupils — in helping them write down an act of kindness, add their name and class, and pop it into the box before the holidays. Every entry goes into a draw for a family pass to the Panto! 🎭✨ Let’s fill our school with kindness this December. Thank you for helping us spread positivity, caring and joy across our community. 💛😊
