Scoil na mBuachaillí Selected for Creative Schools 2026

Scoil na mBuachaillí is proud to announce that we have been selected to participate in the Creative Schools Programme 2026 and have been awarded €4,000 in funding by the Arts Council.

Creative Schools is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme, supporting schools to place creativity at the heart of teaching, learning and school life through partnerships with artists, cultural organisations and local communities.

As we look ahead to the beginning of a new school year, this is a wonderful way to launch another exciting chapter in the life of our school. Working alongside a Creative Associate, we will develop a Creative Schools Plan that reflects the ideas, talents and interests of our pupils, with pupil voice at the heart of the process.

This exciting opportunity will further strengthen the arts in SNB, providing our pupils with rich creative experiences while building on the vibrant culture of creativity that already exists throughout our school.

We look forward to sharing our Creative Schools journey with our pupils, families and the wider school community throughout the coming year.
