Particular praise was given to the creativity of the experiments and the way the boys explored the impact of music on memory, concentration, literacy and maths. The pupils were also commended for the confidence and knowledge they displayed when presenting their project and explaining their conclusions throughout the day.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the feedback was the recognition of the outstanding teamwork shown by the entire class. Every pupil played a role, demonstrating excellent collaboration, communication and enthusiasm from start to finish.
To celebrate this achievement, Finbarr proudly added the Science Blast plaque to our STEM Wall, where it now sits alongside our STEM showcases from Science Blast and the Young Scientist Exhibition, as well as our Curious Minds Awards and Muintir na Tíre Awards. Together, these achievements reflect the boys’ enthusiasm for STEM, creativity, innovation and community engagement, while inspiring future scientists, engineers and problem-solvers in Scoil na mBuachaillí.
