Prizegiving 2026
Our annual Prizegiving Ceremony was a wonderful celebration of another successful year in Scoil na mBuachaillí.
Pupils, staff and special guests gathered to recognise the many achievements of our boys throughout the year. From Junior Infants proudly receiving their graduation certificates and medals to our senior pupils collecting awards and addressing the audience, the ceremony showcased the talent, dedication and school spirit that make our school community so special.
The event celebrated achievements across a wide range of areas including sport, music, chess, leadership, literacy, drama, horticulture, digital learning and community involvement. Rang 7 and Rang 8 pupils were also recognised for reaching important milestones in their school journey.
A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the many sporting awards. Pupils received Sciath na Scol medals and shield presentations, soccer medals and trophies, basketball medals, orienteering and chess medals. We are grateful to the Parents' Association for sponsoring the basketball medals and to John McCarthy for sponsoring the soccer medals. Soccer presentations recognised pupils from Rang 1 & 2 Soccer, Rang 3–6 Soccer and 5-a-side Soccer. The Noreen Minihan Cup were also presented.
