What a day we had!! 🏃
Firstly, a huge congratulations to all the boys who earned their place on the SNB Athletics Team 2026. Making the school athletics team is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm shown throughout the year. The boys represented SNB with great pride throughout the day.

Thank you also to Clonakilty GAA Sports & Leisure Complex for the use of their excellent facilities, and to Clonakilty Mayoral Council Conan O'Donovan for presenting the trophies at his final official event as Mayor. A proud past pupil of SNB, Conan has been a fantastic ambassador for our town and a great friend to our school. We are incredibly proud of all he has achieved and congratulate him on a wonderful term as Mayor.
Rang 7 and Rang 8 set the standard early in the day, taking part in the athletics events on the Astro Turf and bringing home a fantastic collection of medals. The boys got SNB off to the perfect start and showed tremendous determination and skill throughout the opening session!

A massive congratulations to every member of our athletics team. From the first race to the final relay, the boys showed determination, resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship in abundance. Their performances throughout the day were exceptional, and they did SNB proud every step of the way.
Under the leadership of Ms Mary Horgan, SNB continued its proud athletics tradition and once again demonstrated the strength of athletics within our school.
We are incredibly proud of all the boys who took part and the way they represented themselves, their families and our school community throughout the day.
