As another exciting school year draws to a close, our Basketball and Soccer Leagues have officially come to an end. A huge congratulations to all pupils who took part, showing fantastic skill, teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the year.
🏀 Basketball Final
The basketball season culminated in a thrilling final between Cillian O’Mahony’s team and Keith Mazibeli’s team. After a hard-fought contest, Cillian’s team emerged victorious. Well done to both teams on reaching the final and providing a great spectacle for their classmates.
⚽ Europa League Final
Today saw the conclusion of our Europa League competition. Captains Cillian O’Mahony and Max O’Keeffe are pictured with referees Seán Kennedy and Séimí Forristal before the final. In an impressive performance, Cillian’s team secured a 2–0 victory to claim the title.
⚽ Champions League Final
The Champions League final featured captains Séimí Forristal and Seán Kennedy, pictured with referee Max O’Keeffe. Seán’s team produced an outstanding display to win the final 3–0.
Congratulations to all players, captains and referees who helped make this year’s leagues such a success. The leagues have provided wonderful opportunities for pupils to develop their skills, enjoy healthy competition and build friendships throughout the year.
A special word of thanks goes to the teachers who made these competitions possible. Their time, commitment, organisation and encouragement ensured that the leagues ran smoothly from start to finish. We are very grateful for their dedication and support.
