As we prepare for the annual Clonakilty International Guitar Festival next week, we reflect on a special moment at last year’s festival. George Lowden of Lowden Guitars attended the Acoustic Forum in Scoil na mBuachaillí and in his own words “was so impressed by all that you are doing there in the school!”. We were delighted to receive a Sheeran By Lowden guitar as a gift.

This act of kindness inspired Ms Karen O’Regan and the students themselves to compose and produce “We Can Be Stars!” —a true celebration of their passion, teamwork, and imagination. We will releasing this incredible song next week! Thank You George!
