Irish Aid Learning in 5th & 6th Class
Our 5th and 6th Class pupils will soon be taking part in an exciting series of learning activities linked to Irish Aid.
Through these lessons, pupils will explore how Ireland supports people in over 130 countries worldwide, while engaging with important global issues such as poverty and hunger, climate action, equality, and supporting communities affected by conflict.
This meaningful learning will help pupils to develop empathy, global awareness, and a strong sense of social responsibility, encouraging them to see themselves as active and informed global citizens.
These learning experiences also strongly align with our Green Schools and Amber Flag programmes, reinforcing our school’s commitment to sustainability, wellbeing, active citizenship, and positive global action.
We are really looking forward to this engaging and thought-provoking learning journey for our senior classes.
