A Special Visit from Hank

26th Apr 2026

We were absolutely delighted to welcome Hank back to Scoil na mBuachaillí for a very special visit last Friday.

Following his own request to return, Hank called in for a flying visit — and he quickly settled back into school life. During the day, he took part in a spelling test, joined his classmates in Global Classrooms where they were building prototypes and even finished up with a stint on Warden Duty.

We are always honoured when past pupils choose to return and reconnect with our school community, and Hank’s visit meant a great deal to both staff and pupils.

Hank joined our 5th Class in January 2025, having moved from America, and from the very beginning he made a lasting impression on everyone here. During his time with us, he became a much-loved member of our school community, bringing energy, kindness and friendship to his class.

Although Hank and his family moved to Kerry in November 2025, it is clear that his connection to SNB remains strong. It was wonderful to see him back, and we are so grateful that he took the time to visit.

Hank will always be a valued part of the SNB family.
