🌲🧗‍♂️ 4th Class Adventure at Zipit! 🧗‍♂️🌲 Our 4th Class boys had an unforgettable day at Zipit Adventure Park, where they took on a variety of exciting climbing challenges, rope bridges, and zip lines high up among the trees. The boys showed tremendous courage and determination as they pushed themselves to try new things and overcome obstacles. It was fantastic to see the lads encouraging one another throughout the day, celebrating each other's achievements and demonstrating great teamwork and friendship. We were especially delighted when the Zipit instructors took the time to compliment the boys on their behaviour. They commented on how polite, respectful, and well-mannered the lads were throughout the visit and said they were a credit to their school. We are incredibly proud of how our 4th Class represented our school. Well done, boys—you were outstanding ambassadors and should be very proud of yourselves! 👏👏👏 A sincere thank you to Eileen Breen O'Riordan, Gillian Galvin, and Marie Hayes for accompanying the boys and helping to make the day such a wonderful success. Your support and assistance are greatly appreciated. 💚 #ZipitAdventure #4thClass #ProudSchool #Teamwork #Respect #SchoolTour #MakingMemories 💚🌟
🌟 This Is What SNB Is All About 🌟 At SNB, we believe childhood should be filled with opportunities to explore, discover, experience and grow. Our role is not just to teach children in the classroom, but to open doors for them—to help them connect with nature, build friendships, develop confidence and create memories that will stay with them for years to come. Our Junior Infants had a wonderful day in the woods and on the beach, embracing every adventure that came their way. From exploring woodland trails to enjoying the sand and sea, the day was full of excitement, laughter and learning. And, of course, no great day out is complete without chips and ice cream! 🍟🍦 These experiences matter! They help children become confident, curious and resilient young people while reminding them that learning can be joyful, meaningful and fun. A huge thank you to Mary Horgan, Samantha Aerts, Kathryn O'Shea and Niamh O'Donovan for organising and accompanying the trip. Your generosity with your time and your commitment to providing enriching experiences for our pupils are greatly appreciated. Giving children opportunities to explore the world around them, discover new experiences and create lifelong memories – that's what SNB is all about. ❤️ I Love Clonakilty @followers Clonakilty Notice Board

🔬🎶 We were delighted to receive the official Science Blast plaque and judges’ feedback this week, recognising the fantastic work of Ms Hayes’ 4th Class on their project, “Does Music Help Our Brain Power?” 🧠🎶 The judges described the boys’ work as “very impressive” and praised the excellent way they collected, organised and presented their data, highlighting their effective use of graphs and results to communicate their findings. 📊👏 Particular praise was given to the creativity of the experiments and the way the boys explored the impact of music on memory, concentration, literacy and maths. The pupils were also commended for the confidence and knowledge they displayed when presenting their project and explaining their conclusions throughout the day. ⭐ One of the most rewarding aspects of the feedback was the recognition of the outstanding teamwork shown by the entire class. Every pupil played a role, demonstrating excellent collaboration, communication and enthusiasm from start to finish. 💙 To celebrate this achievement, Finbarr proudly added the Science Blast plaque to our STEM Wall, where it now sits alongside our STEM showcases from Science Blast and the Young Scientist Exhibition, as well as our Curious Minds Awards and Muintir na Tíre Awards. Together, these achievements reflect the boys’ enthusiasm for STEM, creativity, innovation and community engagement, while inspiring future scientists, engineers and problem-solvers in Scoil na mBuachaillí. 🔬🏆 A huge thank you to Ms Hayes for her dedication, support and encouragement in making this such a memorable and successful experience for the boys. #ScienceBlast #STEM #FutureScientists #ScienceInAction #ScoilnamBuachailli #CuriousMinds #STEMEducation #PrimaryScience #STEMSuccess

🌟 Yesterday, 3rd Class enjoyed a lovely walk around Clonakilty as they explored their local area and got to know their town a little better 🏘️ Along the way, they discovered different street names, spotted interesting local statues, and learned more about the history and features of their community. They also kept an eye out for their amazing summer visitors — the swifts 🐦✨ — and were delighted to see them flying overhead. A fantastic day of learning, exploring, and enjoying the sunshine ☀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
